As you develop an idea and keep pondering it, it changes.

It's the same in many aspects of life, art included.

As we change, we do stay the same in many other aspects. That is one of the points of evolution: it's usually gradual, subtle.

So when we decide to change our art and design, we should be careful not to make it too extreme, and not to throw away what makes it unique, and what gives it it's character.

So when our Paula here went through quite a few phases, herself, she still stayed our Paula.

We think you will recognize here phases in the game, and still notice that while she changes, she remains Paula.
