Hello, everybody.

I come here with some different and pretty cool piece of news. For those who don’t know, the Spooktober Visual Novel Jam is one of the largest game jams for Visual Novels and this year, I got to help make one.

With the help from the people over at Morrow Shore and some talented folks, including Voice Actors and ErebusWulfe (with whom I previously collaborated in The Wayward Tower), I present to you: Phantom Echoes.

As you can see, it is not quite what I’m known for here. Phantom Echoes follows the story of Rana, a teenager plagued with mysterious dreams she cannot make sense of, during a time of change not just for her and her whole village. Clocking at around 14k words, it’s a short story with creepy elements and a sense of wonder, displaying the true struggle of finding yourself in a (seemingly) uncaring world.

Like I said, this may not be what I usually do, but hopefully you can appreciate my writing tackling a wholly different subject. Not to mention, the work of talented writers, voice performers, artists, musicians and programmers make our entry a treat, especially if you’re looking for a game with an eerie vibe.
