As-yet-untitled-car-game-thing

so i wanted to make a little racing game as a fun little side project, but then, i saw a godot engine procedural terrain tutorial and said hey, i can do that, why dont i make it procgen? so i did make it procgen. and then days turned into weeks as i rebuilt the generator from scratch to make it faster, add biome support, and a few other things.. and then weeks turned into months, slowly working on it on and off.

and now, i have a fun little exploration game about driving a car on a slightly psychedelic alien planet.

the only problem is it crashes randomly, with no errors in the engine.
i can't release something like that! especially not for sale!
and i can't narrow down where the bug is. so i've hit something of an impasse for the moment.

i know the problem has to do with the multithreading tomfoolery i had to engage in to make the terrain generate quick enough, but without it, it is unacceptably slow.. back to the drawing board once again? or do i keep poking at it?
