Silly me forgot to share the characters! Those are important!!

Look at these people! Can you believe that a cranberry illustrated these?

Protagonist

Ryland is a villager of the snowy town Northwood, as well as this year's sacrifice to appease the spooky monster! He also likes writing, since it distracts him from how sad and gloomy and sad his village is.

Not Protagonist 1

This guy is the aforementioned monster! Xuejun lives in a cave in the spooky forest with all the snow. How scary!!

Not Protagonist 2

This guy is a bird!

And those are the peoples!! I'm excited to show off my renditions when they get drawn!

This is an obligatory excerpt from the beginning part of the story, where Ryland is Ryland!

That one person helped me write this part, so I can't take too much credit for this thingy...

But, yea! I'm learning how to write these people as I go on! It's less scary than I expected it to be.
