First things first: THANK YOU!

Rewritten was a passion project for us. We assumed the game would be played by maybe 20-30 of our closest friends and family members, but that didn’t matter. We wanted to make the game for us. We wanted to see what we were capable of. We had no game development experience, but we had a dream and a drive to make it reality. We designed characters we’d fall in love with, we wrote jokes that made us laugh, we incorporated topics that were personal to us; in short, we made the kind of game we would want to play!

We were immediately overwhelmed by the rush of love and support for Rewritten. The fact that we’ve hit 10,000 downloads in less than a year since our release is hard to believe. We are highly appreciative of everyone who’s interacted with Rewritten, whether in the form of a nice comment or fanart, or even if you’ve just played the game! If our game has put a little happiness and comfort into the world, that’s more than we ever could’ve hoped for.

While we still have a lot of love for our Rewritten boys, we don’t currently expect to expand Rewritten or make a sequel, as we feel like their stories have been told, but who knows what the future may hold. We do have plans for more games, however, and we hope you’ll come to love our new characters the way you’ve loved the Rewritten cast! As this is not a job for us (yet), we still plan to take our time with future projects and make sure we’re having fun, so while you probably shouldn’t expect anything too soon, know we’re slowly and surely chipping away at new ideas.
