Beyond The Roses(Chapter one:DAY ONE)

You were working your shift in the cafe as it was a busy day and the cafe was busy and full of customers. You knew it was going to be a long day before your shift was going to be over.

You were taking out customers orders as you trip over your own shoe and your co worker Cj quickly grabs you by the bow of your apron as he was really fast on catching you,he soon pulls you up to the point you were standing up straight and he looked at you as he sighed softly “ you sure you ok? That was almost a nasty fall for you almost took” he crossed his arm as he looked at you with a worried look.

You couldn’t help but nod yes as you were fine but luckily the food was still intact and you carry on with your day and serve the customers with their meals as you were still carrying your usual happy and chipper attitude as you worked.

Later during your shift you hear the news on the tv as you were listening while cleaning up tables but you seemed a little uneasy by the news as you hear this from the reporters.

Reporter 1:”tonight we are reporting some strange killings that has been happening in the east side of the town, suspects says that the killer is unknown as these killings are frequently happening during the evening and we suggest everyone to head home before dark and try to stay safe” the reporter soon stopped talking as the camera had turned off and went into a commercial break.

The news had send shivers down your entire body as you had fear that the strange killer could of been nearby or anyone as you were lost in your thoughts you were soon caught off guard by the sound of the bell from the door and you see a average height man walked in and you watched him take his normal seat as he was a regular, you take a deep breath and you walk up to his table and you asked on what he would like and the man looked up at you as he softly spoke “ Oh I will just have the special” he smiled softly as he looked at you, you couldn’t help but return the smile as you wrote down his order as you walk to the kitchen and started to make it as you were the only one in the cafe working since you had the closing shift.

As you had finished the man’s order you set it on a tray and soon walked out of the kitchen and you walk to his table once more as you set down his meal and you told him to enjoy and then left to clean up the place as it was almost close to closing hour for the cafe, the man smiled happily as he ate his meal while mostly watching you secretly…it seemed like he was studying you or perhaps. . . . . was obsessed with you.

The man finally paid for his meal and soon left as well you started to finish up cleaning up and pretty much locked up the cash register and turning on the cameras on and you soon walked out of the cafe locking the doors as you then put your keys into you pocket and started to walk down the path to your house.

As you walked you heard loud glass breaking as you see some kids breaking into random vending machines and mostly just stealing the snacks from the machines and you felt a little uneasy from remembering the report that you had heard on the tv earlier, you decided to take a short cut and you come across a dark alleyway and you had stopped in front of it deciding to walk through it or take the long way…. You chose to take the shortcut through the alleyway,you take a deep breath as you walked forward but soon was startled by accidentally stepping on a empty chip bag and a empty soda can as the soda can made a loud crushing noise after you had stepped on it and you quickly looked around a bit panicked hoping no one had heard and you were luckily no one did...as what you thought.

You continued to walk but you quickly come to a stop as you saw a shadowy figure appear in front of you with a wide grin and you soon make a run for it as you had turn around and ran out of the alleyway scared,you run all the way to your house as you had entered locking every door and window hoping you weren’t followed.

Soon you take a deep breath trying to calm down, you decide to clear your mind as you lie down on your bed not caring to change out of your work clothes and you soon doze off into a deep sleep while cuddling your pillows and blankets.

 As you were sleeping the strange man that was at the cafe climbs through your window silently as to not wake you, he soon grabs a rose from his pocket as it was still in good condition he soon sets it on your desk as he then enters your computer as he was looking for your name and he smirked as he had found it “Rest well little bun, we will meet again soon. . . very soon” he whispered and he took one photo of you and he soon left your slumber body and home.
