Hoshiko personality is about to have a change for the worse she is about to kill for her lover, as she feels threatened and scared to lose him to this girl "Maki" she is the new transfer student from tokyo  academy, this is why Hoshiko feels threatened as she believes all the girls from tokyo are pretty and steal the boys from a small city like Yamagata.
