Now that I have supporters, I feel obligated to let you know where your funds are going and what the growth in membership means to me.
Real-world shooting takes more time, money, and space than anything else.
Firstly, let me explain the current working environment with a photo.
Yes, due to space constraints, I have to sleep next to my main shooting area. The actual production space, tinkering, and puppet-making station are on the other side, and it's so messy that it's best not to look.
I don't need sympathy; I just want to inform you of the current situation. Besides material consumption, what I need most is space, and only with your continued support can I manage it.
For now, all your support will go towards production materials and shooting equipment. However, if I can reach around 250-300 paid members, I will rent a small studio nearby to expand my shooting space.
Then, if there are more supporters, I will upgrade the camera. Currently, I use the highest-end consumer-grade webcam available on the market, which costs around $150. While it's compact and useful, its image quality has limitations, and I can't make many shooting adjustments with it. With additional support, I plan to purchase a DSLR or a modern mirrorless camera, depending on the support level.
If we reach around 1,000 paid members, I will be fully committed to production, move to a large city, rent a spacious studio, and start searching for team members to continue with the expansion towards a small company level.
When that time comes, this is when the real game will begin.
