Post delay annoucement update

Been almost 2 weeks since I made that last post, huh? Time sure flies, and I figured I'll keep you all updated in a near bi-weekly manner(a post every 2 weeks) since there are obviously uncertainties about the demo launch timeframe and progress being made.

So, what's with the roadmap progression thus far, you may ponder? Well...

  • The first boss is 99% done. I just need playtesting from people who aren't me and me alone (and adjust it with the received feedbacks).
  • The shader compiler is completed! :D
  • A first pass of the enemy encounter before the second boss has been made. I'm going to vigorously and thoroughly test it over the weekend.
  • I haven't touched the second boss yet. I'll save that for after the enemy encounter before it is done.
  • I've made improvements to the navigation mesh in certain key areas and am still monitoring enemy behaviors.
  • I've been in the process of improving the lacking areas (making 3D stuff is relaxing to me) and even the presentation of some of the environments. The progress on that has been smooth. :)
  • I haven't started any work on the 2 new enemies yet. I will after the second boss is done.
  • In the roadmap, I forgot to mention there will be an end-of-demo area. I'll keep that for last after the above is completed. I'll also have it show your item progression and completion time (wasn't planned for the initial demo, but the magic of delay is I can add that now). That area won't be overly complex; it will roughly take a day or less. Why keep it for last? Well, it will void the save files of me and my volunteers, so I, and surely they, would rather test everything else first.

I think this covers it all.

See you next time.
