General Update + Reminder

Hello! This is a quick update to show you something I'm working on + remind you to fill out my survey for my 1-year uploading anniversary :) https://forms.gle/2sKFBbuBfpPZDNt86 The survey includes a selection of the tools I have on my to-release list too, which you can rank in order of most to least interested! All the questions are optional, and it's designed to be pretty quick to fill out + anonymous. You can read the full post here from last week: https://itch.io/blog/762623/happy-1-year-anniversary-survey

As for the thing I'm working on - after the release of my zoom viewport last week, I got a request to combine the parallax and zoom functionalities. This wasn't originally possible, since nesting the viewports would cause one to absorb some of the events for the other, plus the zoom effect for multiple layers didn't look as nice since they'd all zoom at the same rate like they were stuck together.

Well I'm pleased to report that combining the two viewports was way easier than anticipated, plus I was able to add some other features like different zoom multipliers for different layers (so farther back layers don't look like they move so much) and allow you to supply a transform to do things like fade out or blur layers as you zoom in/out. Here are the results below!

I'd hoped to release this viewport combo this week, but I think I'll be making it into an addon listing which requires a bit more work to get ready than if it'd just been an update to an existing tool. It will require the ZoomViewport code in order to work. I'm also preparing for a vacation next week so I've been busy trying to get as many of my major tasks done as possible before then. But it should be out soon! Thanks for your patience ✨
