A couple days ago I released "Senpai Game," a short visual novel where the script has been flipped: you play as Hotaru Ito, a high school girl who's dangerously obsessed with securing the affection of her classmate, the titular Senpai. 

The game has three routes that each correspond to one of three girls: Umiko Tsunoda, Senpai's perfect-in-every-way childhood friend; Sora Mizushima, the perky and energetic new transfer student; and Ishi Katou, Senpai's unruly delinquent little stepsister.

Rather than dating these three girls, you as the player assume Hotaru's quest to destroy their romantic prospects with Senpai using whatever means necessary. Hotaru will resort to lying, manipulating, and outright sabotage to make sure nobody can compete with her for a place in Senpai's heart. Of course, her harebrained schemes rarely go as planned, and disaster usually follows.

Lastly, a bit of background: "Senpai Game" started as a joke between myself and some good friends, mutated into a group collab where we mostly just tried to make each other laugh, and became a years-long personal crusade whose ending I couldn't possibly predict. "Senpai Game" is a personal project, and maybe a bit amateurish (although I'd like to think it looks and reads pretty good) but it's brought me a tremendous amount of joy (and one or two headaches). However many people end up playing it, I hope it brings you some joy, too.
