We made it to July. The hottest time of the year where I live. But it also happens to be my birthday month. Yay! Happy Birthday to me! (it's not until the 24th though lol) ^o^ Needless to say, I've been spending a lot of time indoors trying to keep cool. And I accomplished quite a bit last month for both Dragon Roommates and Pure in Heart. As for Honkai Star Rail: Otome ... well, the future for it is looking pretty bleak ngl. More details below ~ 

Dragon Roommates
So far I've managed to finish 2 out of the 8 CGs planned. Although both of them are NSFW, so I won't be sharing them here. You'll have to wait and play the final chapter to see them. Hehe. ;)
I've also done quite a bit of writing. I got the chapter's intro finished. As well as all of Ignis' "free time" conversations and new secret location scenes written out specifically for this chapter.
However there's still a lot of work to do. So all in all, I'm only a quarter of the way finished at best. I'm still highly motivated though, so I'll keep on diligently writing away behind the scenes ~ ^_^

Pure In Heart
I uploaded version 1.11 a couple days ago. Please keep in mind that, similar to my Dragon Roommates update system, 1.2 will be the version number of the next chapter update. This one was just a minor update in which I switched out all the backgrounds as well as made some other minor adjustments. You can read more about it on the devlog I posted on the project page.
As for Chapter Two, I'm not planning on starting on it until I'm finished with the next Dragon Roommates update, as I prefer to go back and forth between projects to keep me from burning out. This will ensure that both projects will be finished eventually. It'll just take me a while to get there. Thank you for being patient and understanding in this regard. :3

Honkai Star Rail: Otome
Just like Jing Yuan in the vn, I too have been feeling burnt out ... when it comes to gacha games. And so, I'm sorry to announce that I decided to stop playing Honkai Star Rail. :( As much as I love the characters, I honestly haven't been enjoying the storyline and gameplay elements as much as other more open world gacha games—Genshin and Wuthering Waves to be specific—so most of my gacha time has been spent on those instead. No surprise three gachas is one gacha too many for me to keep up with. xD
I'm not going to say "goodbye" to HSR indefinitely, but I'm definitely going to be taking an extended break. Maybe get back into it a year or two from now. Who knows?
As for what this means for the future of the otome ... well, I still want to at the very least finish Jing Yuan's route as I already started it and would like to see it through to the end. I have the outline, I just need to the motivation to see it through. But because I'm not playing HSR, the motivation for me to work on this project has been pretty low. For now it's going to be taking a back seat to my original vns: Dragon Roommates and Pure in Heart. At least until I choke up the motivation to keep working on it again.
Sorry to disappoint you HSR fans. It's a great game, I just haven't been as hyped about it as I was when it first came out and I loved Dan Heng SO MUCH I made this silly little dating sim on a whim in the span of a week. Don't underestimate the power of a crazy fangirl. xD
But hey, maybe I'll make another fan dating sim sometime for another gacha. Such as Genshin or Wuthering Waves. All I need is the right inspiration to spark that creative flow. Just like Dan Heng and HSR managed to do when Imbibitor Lunae was released. ♥
As a side note, if anyone wants the assets to my Dan Heng / Jing Yuan sprites, of course you are more than happy to use them to create your own HSR dating sims / projects. Just please give me credit for my art wherever you put your credits. These sprites exist now and they're not my OCs or anything, so someone may as well put them to good use. :3

Art Fight
As I mentioned last month, I'm participating in Art Fight this month, so I might not get as much work done. At least not in terms of art. As all my drawing energy will probably be going into drawing other people's characters.
