Update on "Dire Dungeon" tileset(s)

Hello guys,

I have been working on a pretty big item asset pack that goes together with my "Dire Dungeons" environments and will release it in a few weeks.

In addition I'm also adding a lot of new tiles and enhanced existing ones for the environment set. This update will be pretty sizable:

  • 60ish new assets
  • Mostly new decorations for floor tiles to allow for more distinct environments within each set
  • Several minor updates on several wall tiles

Because I invested quite some time into it and I feel the quality has been significantly improved and after considering my current, very low price point... I decided to raise the price from 5$ to 10$ and I wanted to give you guys a heads-up.

If you're considering buying this pack, you can save a few bucks now.

Now on to the second news

My item tileset is basically done and will feature over 250 items, covering every adventurers needs from weapons to armor to potions, scrolls, books, coins, keys and artifacts. Next to optional, black outlines it also features a wide color variety of animated magical glow outlines! This was enables by a little script a friend wrote for myself, that handles the animation and automated export of the whole set.

Here's a little teaser

Waow, so sparkly!

For the future of my tilesets, I want to say that I plan to keep doing updates to them and create more packs. Over the last months I could dump a lot of time into them and that was great fun. For the next half year, my plans won't allow me to work as much on them as I'd like, but I still plan to do small updates based on your feedback. Longterm I'd love to do a player characters and monster pack to complete the package.
