In the spirit of better coding, I rebuilt the quest system tonight. The one I had before was bulky and clunky. the new quest system is object oriented, fast and easy to use. I also added a few quest that will be present in the game! I added more art and side images to make some scenes more "alive". I hope to do that with as many scenes as possible!
Navigation - check.
Space combat - check.
Ground combat - check.
Inventory - check.
Quest system - check
The interstellar navigation system is started but not yet a check, It might in fact be the biggest workload un terms of coding and renders too.
Here is what is planned,
Your ship's wave drive will determine how far you can travel,
Random encounters with space baddies,
Trade system (at outpost and with friendly ships)
Mining
Exploring ruins and desolate planets!
I also plan to add several NPC's to join your party, they will also have special skills that can be used in space combat and other situations.
