Hello fishes of the sea, it's now Day 6 of the pixel jam there are now (functionally) 3 days left for the jam!
I'm nearing the finish line for release hoping to get a lot of work done in the coming days but, for now here's the stuff for today:
firstly, I replaced the bubble and other projectile sprites to better fit the resolution of the game,
calamari's sprite will remain the same just because other wise it looks....
borderline silly...
the bottom bar for the UI was also redone just to be slightly more detailed and to again fit the resolution.
secondly I finished 1 more attack which is a pretty fun one,
thirdly I finally finished the seal's health bar and calamari's own attacks
next on the chopping board is death screens and winning screens.
and the attacks and then sfx gathering.
but until then stay fishy or something and see you on Day 7.
