Dubious Dungeon Dev Update!

Just wanted to post an update here for anyone who wasn't with us on discord! We've been hard at work with a piece we've been toying around with since we started Girlyyy, and frankly a mechanic that I've been infatuated with since I got my fat little fingers on a DS in 2006. The seemingly infinite dungeon. Harking back to some of my favorite examples, namely Powder (Which is free and will ruin your life if you let it, look that shit up), that one 100 floor dungeon from Twilight Princess, and the mine from Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, this mechanic is something we've always wanted to tackle. As of now we have created a HUGE chunk of what we want to get done, a full tile set, mechanic, and some spooky ass enemies are in and playing more coherently than, like, most of the base game, currently supporting a near infinite set of levels. HOWEVER, this isn't something we want to slap an MVP sticker and send out the door. We have a momentum right now that we want to keep and build on, making this a pinnacle portion of the game, as well as be able to lift part and parcel into other types of dungeons. Combine this with a move that happens this Friday, and we're running a bit tight. So, to give everyone a sneak peak, we'll be releasing a standalone demo later this week that we hope illustrates the core functionality, but doesn't necessarily represent where it will be in the final implementation. After we settle at the new place, we plan to wrap this whole bitch into a dot release that incorporates a new set of fixes, bits, and some new patron rewards. Hell maybe some new nsfw content as well.

TLDR; we releasing a demo of the new features that runs standalone, with a big ol' honkin' release shortly after.

See you soon friends, wish us luck on possibly the most stress 4 days of our adult lives!
