About three years ago, I started working on an RPG Tactics project using Godot and C#. Unfortunately, due to commitments with my full-time job, I was unable to complete it. Here's a glimpse of how far I had gotten with the project at that time:
Now, I am excited to announce that I am revisiting this project with a fresh perspective. I am rewriting the RPG in Godot 4, using GDScript instead of C#. I am currently creating a basic template for an isometric turn-based RPG. Once completed, I will make the asset pack and the template code available to the community.
This template will include examples of how to work with pathfinding and manage the order of actions for players and enemies. As the project progresses, I will also add examples of skills, leveling up, and other features.
