It's been a few weeks, and I've been plugging away here and there but mostly endeavoring to give myself a break. While I learn aAffinity Publisher and work at running my own games once more, I do have a pair of announcements to share!

New Book Update
I've been quietly working at it, but I'm happy to share the working title and theme of my next project. The Kami Island Courier will be a zine similar to Wanderer's Guide, focused on exploring Japanese tradition and folklore! So far I've worked on two new classes: the Warlord and the Mystic, new rules for conducting tea ceremonies to bring fortune and favor to adventurers, and about a half-dozen yokai statblocks, such as this:

SPIDER QUEEN (JOROGUMO)
Demonic spider-things that take the forms of a beautiful women to lure passersby, ensnaring and eating them.

AC 15, HP 34, ATK 2 bite +5 (1d8 + poison) and 1 allure, MV near (climb), S +2, D +4, C +2, I +1, W +2, Ch -3, AL N, LV 7

Poison. DC15 CON or paralyzed 1d4 hours.
Allure. One target within near DC15 WIS or move near toward Spider Queen.

As a person who spent many years living and immersed in Japan and it's culture, I'm more than excited to bring my love of folklore to the world of the OSR space. Stay tuned!
