Emily says: Learn Your Acronyms: BANG stocks! (1)

Update 1 to Love Can Only Go Up Visual Novel, now available on Kickstarter.

Listen up, Mister Investment Director. I'm about to lay down some fundamentals of investing. Pay attention because I won't be repeating myself - and don't even think about interrupting!

It's high time you embrace this little thing called profit. $100 million in profits, to be exact. Your portfolio – and our workplace – depend on it, remember?

Now, let's start with the tickers of the biggest tech stocks we could potentially bet on. Don't tell me you don't know what a ticker is?! Okay, in case you forgot, it's a four-letter code for a company listed on the stock market, like BUGL or ANGL. It's a tag for easy identification on the list of thousands of listed companies. Simple enough, right?

You certainly heard about BANG stocks. Yes, you've heard of them, and no, it's not a musical acronym. BANG stands for four companies chosen by many investors – and they happen to be my favorites, too. BANG stocks are known for their impressive growth and offer high potential returns - something we desperately need. So, what are these companies?

  • BUGL: Bugle. Bugle is that popular search engine we all know. But Bugle's got its fingers in many pies, including cloud computing, e-commerce, and even IOT – yes, smart fridges are a thing. It's one of the world's most valuable companies, so we can't afford to pass that out.
  • ANGL: Angle. Angle makes smart devices, PCs, and other consumer electronics. Think sleek designs and cutting-edge features. Don't you have an Angle phone? If you want to know more, ask Lexy. She's the gadget girl on our team and is always on top with the latest hardware.
  • NCHX: Netchix. This dating app has an attractive approach and a user-friendly interface. These times, everyone feels lonely, so an app that connects people in a romantic way has a lot of potential. Is it not the app you've tried but haven't had much success with? Can't say I'm surprised.
  • GIGA: Giga Platforms. Our company posts updates on their social media portals and apps, while others share their cat videos or try to be influencers. I hope you're not one of those terrible people. Anyway, having billions of users worldwide certainly helps them get real gains.

There you have it: B-A-N-G. I hope this penetrated through whatever distractions cloud your skull. These are just some of the instruments we can invest in, but they're among my favorites. The market doesn't wait for anyone (especially for us), so let's make our moves!

Oh, and one last thing: I have a little assignment to solve for you or for anyone who wants to try it. I'll post it on our intranet, so feel free to complete it.
