Start developing my own game

I am starting to developing new game. I am gonna take a role of programmer(Unity/C#), pixel artist, game designer. Also I guess I will have to work on sound too although I have no clue on how to do it. The game itself gameplay-wise will be some mixture of metroidvania and puzzle. The metroidvania part is pretty straightforward. You travel around the world solve environmental or quest puzzles, talk to people, collect upgrades to solve more puzzles etc. With puzzles I will try to achieve what braid, baba is you or outer wilds(with its rule "knowledge is a key")  did - you have some amount of fun, versatile mechanics that can affect the world itself. On that foundation I will try to build interesting gameplay loop. You travel around the world, solve some puzzles but some are out of your understanding. Than you will find some kind of upgrade or (whats far more cool) knowledge of how the game world works so you can progress your adventure. As for the art style, story or overall tone i am not sure yet. Although I am a big fan of Arkady and Boris Strugatsky books so I will take huge inspiration from their work(regarding art and story).
