Post Jam thoughts

Ended up finding another bug where the drones were not doing damage unless at least one of the terminals was hacked (the terminals add 5 * number of terminals damage, but I did not add a baseline so with none hacked they were doing zero damage. I only noticed because to spice up the early game I added 4 drones mid map halfway between Plato and the player to begin with aggression (which I felt like added a lot to the game).

Getting my game done roughly 24 hours before the jam ended was great for my mental health. I was able to spend today recovering and helping people in the godot channel on Thor's discord so more people could complete in time.

And meanwhile once the Jam completed Thor announced the secret prize. $30,000 to the winners (whether the top 3 or he means the top 1 team I don't know, but either way that is one HELL of a prize). Wonderful to see him doing more to help drive indie development with his new found fame.

As for me? I have some flash fiction to write because I have an agreement with a friend we'll submit pieces to each other every week, and I'm going to come up with another idea to work on because I feel momentum right now and I want to make more games.
