Hello everyone! This is the beginning of my """blog""" documenting the status of a game I envisioned called "Horse teaches typing." This game is intended to eventually be a type racer that can also teach you how to type, with the help of horses. I don't think that it will be that grand or that elegant, but I'm using this to learn some skills in unity that I can then put to use on other projects!

Since this is my first ever post, I'll also put a bit about myself in here. I am a programmer out of the PNW doing ~data related work~ with a strong background in data science and IT infrastructure. Programming has always been fun to me so logically, game development is the next step!

As of this post, I have already learnt a bit of unity that let me make the very first prototype of "Horse Teaches Typing" (HTT). You just type 'HORSE' and a horseman spawns and trots. That is literally it. It took me 7 hours to do, but I think it was 7 hours well spent. 

idk how to publish that as a demo, or how to publish this incrementally, so I won't upload the game yet to itch. In the meantime, you can download it from dropbox! (external link). There is no menu so you will have to alt+f4 to leave the game.
