I have exciting news to share, everyone!
First off, I'm making my first visual novel in Ren'Py!
I've been taking the time to learn how to work with it, and I actually feel really big-brain about it! So, what's it about? Well, I'm glad you asked (even if you didn't, I'm gonna tell you about it anyway!!!!!)! It's quite small for a start, BUT it's a dark fantasy/horror VN about a young girl who ventures into a strange world and meets some strange characters.
"But that's so simple, we've heard that tale before!"
But you haven't seen it in this way... which I'm keeping a secret from you until it's ready to be released! :D But don't worry, I'm aiming for sometime between March and May of 2024, and despite being a demo there will be a handful of routes with five endings to achieve!
"Can you at least tell us who the characters are?"
Of course! I've actually shared them online before! Allow me to introduce you to Smiles and Jacky, two characters that sprung to mind back in 2017. I don't want to share much about their backstories yet and how they came to fruition just yet, but these guys have definitely come a long way.
Those who do go missing...
Anyways, what else am I working on!? Well! Besides writing a visual novel, I'm also working on drafting boring regular novels that are part of a book series I started called "Hollow's Vessels", another dark fantasy/horror with flawed characters, swear words, a spooky forest, and references classic fairytales. The first is an abstract adaptation of "Little Red Riding Hood" I published last October in 2023, while the next will follow in the footsteps of Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland", except with a dark and demented twist. >:3 Link below if you wanna check it out!

It took a lot for me to get where I currently am, and it will take a lot more in order to make everything in my head a reality. 2024's been a decent start, which is actually quite nice considering how hard 2023 was. If you made it to the end of this post, I hope you'll stick around. I'm not planning to be one of those creators who start out somewhat strong with potential, but then vanish off the face of the earth after a short while.
Thank you for reading this post, sorry if it seems too rambly! I'll see you again soon. <3
