Phew. Haven't had much time for Spinfoam Games projects in quite a while; but I've got some extra time now, so here we go!

I've never been entirely satisfied with "WordChanter" -- I don't particularly like the name and the tool itself feels a little clunky, so I decided it was time to start building a replacement or at least a ... spiritual sequel?

Since I released a few PDFs of random tables for TTRPGs under the "Merry Manticore" banner I decided to roll the new random text generation tools into that, since it's a much more whimsical name than "WordChanter".

Classic WordChanter isn't going anywhere, but any new random generation work I have time to do will be part of The Merry Manticore instead.

Not all of the generators from WordChanter are replicated on The Merry Manticore yet, but for the ones that are I already think the output tends to be "better" (you can read that as "more weird"); here are a bunch of tavern names, for example:

Also: I'd love to hear any suggestions for other weird or fun generators to add; I've got quite a list in mind myself, but I'm sure there are plenty of things I haven't thought of!
