When it comes to team projects, making sure everyone is on the same page and knows what to do is very important.
A really important part of keeping everyone on that same page at all times is having a clear schedule set up ahead of time. Having an outline for what should be done on our project weeks in advance is a really useful aspect of our team's organization.
For this project, one of our team members already set up a Jira schedule for the rest of this semester, and to be used during the next one as well. This way, instead of having to check in every time a team member needs to know what to do next, they can simply get started by checking our Jira. This is also very useful because it means that if someone is ahead of schedule, then they can see what's coming next, and get started early. It also helps in making sure everyone is accounting for what comes later in their current work; it's much easier to implement a new feature when you left an opening for that feature to be implemented through your past work.
