Good morning.

Last night I decided to focus solely on polishing the renpy part of Crossroad Blues and ended up playing / replaying and writing/rewriting and in the process of doing this, I felt that there were too many things lacking with it's story.

While I quite like the character's I've crafted, I'm not too fond of the setting I have put them in. My original reason for going with the college thing was because of William and his guy's "setting" in Bathroom Therapy as college students but after going through what I've already made, it felt like a flat project that would probably never become something more (Also it's sorely lacking inhuman creatures ....)

Because of these reasons, I'll be going back to the drawing board to come up with ways I can improve the story or maybe even completely change the world setting. I Know that this is a bit of a risk since I'll be discarding the original story and progress I have made but I feel it will be much better for me in the long run.

My current question right now is; Will you guys be ok with a story far removed from the original Bathroom therapy and it's college setting? Like maybe putting the same characters In an apocalypse or doing a road trip thing?

Like I've already said, I won't be changing the characters at all but this current setting is something that definitely needs to be redone and I'll probably have to figure things out before tonight.

In summary, I'm having doubts about the current world building and I am considering scrapping it and going with something more apocalyptic while still having a mellow vibe.
