The Story of a Story

The Story of a Story by Rat Wave Game House

You are a Story--born from the mouth of a teller, and passed down through the ages to all who listen. Parts of you are lost, new meanings are ascribed, and others are born from your details. You will be told and retold and you will never be the same as when you first started.

This game uses the Lost and Found system by Mousehole Press, which means it does not use any random mechanics. Instead, the game is divided into 3 Ages, each with a certain amount of questions the player can choose to answer.

During all the ages you must choose someone who Tells your story, answer their corresponding questions, and answer how you are changed between the rests.

Some questions will have components of the story completely change, other questions will have new meanings ascribed, and some will ask how you affect other people or even other stories.

I was the story of a hero who tricked a giant bull into being poisoned and falling into a deep slumber, which evolved over time to be a metaphor for different types of love. You can read my playthrough HERE
