The Problem:

We added elemental blades to the game, however when getting one and moving onto another realm the blades no longer showed up on the player. They had to switch them out for them to show up properly. Not only is this annoying for the player but it breaks the immersion. You fought hard for that weapon and then to not have it show up? Inconceivable! We want our players to enjoy their play through and be excited about getting new weapons, this could not be allowed to stay.

The Solution:

I got with the player developer to figure out where the disconnect was. Looking through my code all the information was being saved correctly but something was off. After talking with him he told me that I needed to update the class for sheathed weapons too. Such a simple fix but something I overlooked time and time again. After he pointed me in the right direction I was able to quickly get the code updated and now when you load new realms your elemental weapons appear where they should!
