Looking for Content Creators!

We're looking for streamers, game reviewers, and any others who would be interested in making content about Snackstronauts in exchange for a free code.

Does this sound like you? Contact us in the comments below or on our Twitter with the following:

  • Show us what you make! We'd like to see a link to your content (blog, YouTube channel, social media account, etc.).
  • Tell us why you want a copy of Snackstronauts. Do you already review a lot of small indie games? Does your channel have space travel themes? Are carrots your favorite food? Is your name Gaia? Don't worry if your reason is a little bit silly; we just want to make sure that our codes are going to people who have a real interest and maybe already know a bit about the game.
  • (Optional) Tell us a bit more about yourself and your content. Do you have specific achievements as a content creator that you'd like to highlight, such as a video that went viral or an award of some sort? Are you already planning a larger review series that Snackstronauts would fit into? If you do content that ISN'T reviews or streams, what do you plan on making that is Snackstronauts related? Specifically, we'd like to know anything that might stand out about you or anything that isn't immediately obvious from the link you send us. If you don't have anything to say here, that's fine, too!

Just a heads up: If you contact us regarding this opportunity, we may choose to contact you via your business email or DMs on the site where you make your content so we can send you your code. We have accounts on itch.io (that's here!), Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok and can confirm identity if we need to contact you via another means. If there is a specific way that we should contact you, let us know!

We'll try to respond to anyone who contacts us, but if you don't hear back from us within a couple weeks, that probably just means you didn't get in this time. You can try again next time if we have another opportunity, though.

As long as this post is up and there is no further instruction, you can contact us about this opportunity.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You should already have a platform where you make content that is SOMEHOW related to games. Reviews or streams definitely work, but we're open to more creative ways of exploring the content, such as musical covers, animation, fan art, or cosplay. However, if you have "unique" content that isn't reviews or streaming, let us know what you plan to do. There is no strict follower requirement at this time.
  • Be kind to others on your platform. If we find toxic or discriminatory behavior, this will be an immediate disqualification.
  • Be SOMEWHAT positive/fair in your reviews. Criticism is fine and expected! However, we don't want to give out codes if the plan is to feature us in an "angry" review or a roast video.
  • We may restrict applicants if your regular content is too much above a PG/PG-13 level, but this is on a case-by-case basis. We're not particularly concerned about profanity usage, but other "adult" content may cause ineligibility. If you're not sure if your content might be considered "adult," please feel free to apply anyway!
  • Please only apply if you intend to make a genuine piece of content about Snackstronauts. We're not going to be strict about things like length requirements or when you make your content, but if you take the code and don't make content (or make content that is very clearly intentionally low effort), you likely won't be eligible for any future opportunities.
  • We reserve the right to approve or deny any applicant as we see fit. Please don't be upset if you don't make it, as there's a lot of factors at play here.

Need additional keys for extra team members? Let us know how many you need. If you're asking for more than a few, we may need to ask some follow-up questions.
