I'm making a new tabletop rpg using a modified and simplified version of the Bitpunk NEO system that's like a cross between Castlevania, Diablo 1, and the Soulsborne genre of video games.

The world is cursed.  The sun never rises, and yet no plants die and the world does not grow colder.  The moon stands still in the sky, bloated and blood red.  It is an eternal sentinel watching over a world where the dead rise and horrific monsters roam the earth.  The supernatural has become real, and even some ordinary mortals have been developing strange and terrifying powers.  You are one of these people.  Something in your blood or your soul has resonated with the forbidden essence now flowing through the world.  Will you fight the darkness or succumb?  Only time will tell.
