DRG and D&D!

It's been a while! Life happens, but I'll get a chance to start creating again every so often!

Over the past few days (among getting prepared to spend time with family), I got bit by a creativity itch and wanted to... I guess the appropriate word is "port" stuff from the Deep Rock Galactic game into D&D 5e. As this uses third-party IP, I won't be releasing a paid version for this... It's purely fan-made, and I'll make it available once it's finished.

Since DRG (the video game) can be a pretty fast-paced FPS, the focus of these docs would be in combat.

The goal is to make a "mini DM booklet" (yet to be named) with all the tools to create dangerous adventures in Hoxxes IV, a "Miner's Manual" for the player with a new class to play (The Miner), along its subclasses: Driller, Engineer, Gunner, and Scout!

The Class is completely finished, at least for the stage of the project. Since I'll need to take a break for a few days, it'll be a while before I can send this out for playtesting. Here's a sneak peek of the class features (all the way to 20)

So what's next? Once the family visit over I'll try and find some time to work on Weapons (only 1 set out of 4 is completed) and Perks (they're all there but it's a very early stage, so I'd need to actually sit down and analyze them to see if they work well. I'd say this is about 20% done).

After that I'll try some early playtesting! There's some material online about the enemies of the game in D&D which is nice for me (eventually I want to revisit it and make my own, but they should be good for playtest!).

So then I'll start on the DM's booklet and I'll see how that goes!
