Game Jams...

Their is some stigma with Game Jams, you might be nervous or freaked out at first, but let me tell you... its worth your time! Game jams are an amazing experience and are so much fun! You get to experiment with new game mechanics, themes, and you get to learn how to write constructive feedback!

When should you take part in a Jam?🤔

Game jams will allow for you to grow as a game developer, here are the things you'll learn on your Game Jam journey!

• Time Management Skills
• Teamwork (If you work in a team)
• How to give Feedback
• How to work on a project with specific criteria
• Then of course, experiencing what its like to be in a community of other game devs!

Fantastic! The experience I have had with the Brackeys Game Jam and the ScoreSpace Jam has been absolutely fantastic! The community is amazing, the fact everyone is there to have fun is great! Everyone is supportive, and everyone is their for the same reason... to make games!

Go try out a game jam, experience what its like to make a game from a month to even a day. The experience is amazing, and I highly recommend it if you are interested in game development, even if its your hobby, its one hell of a time!
