Current status of game :

This week I have been trying to make parts of the game with Gamemaker and it hasnt been going well as I keep getting errors every time I try to playtest the game. My antivirus software also hasnt been happy with the game engine so I will probably have to switch engine again.

Ive mainly spent the week making art and have made quite a few attempts with the block art but im still not very happy with it

Other :

Ive been learning C++ in whatever spare time I can make and have found it fairly similar to C#. Ive only learnt the basics but considering i managed to do some of the excercises I think Its going pretty well.

I have also spent some time looking into the making of game engines to see what its all about and there definitly is a lot to learn about it.

My antivirus software gave me a notification about viruses and turns out there were 328 in total. My laptop took care of them all but it shows how important regular checks are.
