Firebasics

I've started a new series on Substack that I'm referring to as Firebasics. The Firebasics series (probably not a unique name, so follow the link below!) tries to explain the basic features of Firebase and shows some code and tips and tricks and common errors that can occur when utilizing Firebase. I think you'd find it incredibly useful. Not only that, but I'm about to make my first paid post! It'll probably be this week, and I'll be sharing actual, live code I'm using to scan my database, where users can upload custom messages, for swear words and links and remove them! This helps prevent liability issues on my part, and ensures the game is family-friendly. You can actually go to my page and check out Hero Babysitter's Club for more - it allows you to create your own custom maps and write information about your maps in the custom map editor, and then upload those maps for anyone to play.

Here is a relatively quick post on Cloud Functions for Firebase, an incredibly powerful feature from the Firebase team that supercharges anything that uses Firebase, even your #GodotEngine games! https://open.substack.com/pub/backat50ft/p/firebasics-part-3?utm_campaign=post&u...
