I decided to start creating my own Starfield

In July, I started playing the Forager game and decided to create something like that in a space setting, and I started to implement the design document.

At the same time, I created graphics, from the first I wanted to do in 3D, but I don't do 3D very well, and settled on 2D or vector graphics.

A little bit about the game

Goal of the game:

Players strive to unravel the mysteries of space, find artifacts and resources, explore diverse ecosystems, and fight unique bosses.

Features:

  • Open World: Players can explore multiple planets with different climates and biomes, each providing unique resources and hazards.
  • Resource Gathering: To survive and progress, players gather resources such as minerals, wood, food, and metals.
  • Crafting and Upgrading: Players can craft and upgrade weapons, equipment, and tools using the resources they harvest.
  • Combat System: Battle with enemies, including monsters and bosses.
  • Mysterious Artifacts: To complete the game, players search for historical and magical artifacts that are important to the story.
  • Colony Development: The ability to build and develop your colony by attracting NPC colonists and providing them with housing and resources.
  • Interactive Ecosystem: A living and responsive ecosystem where players can influence the behavior of local flora and fauna.
  • Search and Exploration: Hidden locations, puzzles and missions motivate players to search and explore the world.
  • Progression and Skills: Players can upgrade their skills and abilities to become more powerful and adapt to danger.
  • Seasonal Events: Possibility to hold seasonal events and holidays with special tasks and rewards.
