Going Forward - The future of my Itch.io

Hey! It's been a long time since the last moment I've been here, so I guess I should update you all on what's been happening behind the scenes.

While I was gone, I focused on growing my other platforms (like Twitter), while also expanding to new ones (Such as Gamejolt, Instagram, Mastodon, you name it), but while doing that, I kinda left my Itch.io accumulate dust over time, of which I take full responsability for leaving it be like that for so long. But in that time I realized something; I don't really like to make asset packs, or at least, not as much as before. I find more joy in making standalone pieces than making assets for use, so I've been wondering what to do with the asset packs in here for a long while... I finally decided what to do.

This year, in September 20, all my asset packs made before the release of U-Palettes Pack will be delisted from Itch.io, and they won't be available to download from their specific pages anymore... Because they'll be all combined into one single package, the Anubi Legacy Assets Collection, which will contain all the files from those asset packs, along with unreleased files (such as the cancelled 2.0 update for MinItems) and other kind of files. Along with this, all of the current licenses of these assets will change to a Public Domain license once the collection goes live.

Now, that's nice and all, but... What will happen with this Itch.io account in the future?

There will be other kind of content going forward, which won't be on the scale of Pixemoji, but some things I'll make from Ko-Fi will become available here too, along with some extras.

It'll probably not be graphic assets, but other things instead (like wallpapers, and music).

If you decide to stick around for more, I'll see you on September.
