PlayPaint released! Soon with more Polygons!

As of noonish today, PlayPaint is available on itch. I made a Reddit post, a tweet, and a toot on Mastodon. And then I streamed me coding improvements to the app live on Twitch for ~2hrs

I obviously have no idea about how to best launch a product. But I couldn't wait any longer — it worked and so I wanted to get it out there.

So two hours later and the app has a new feature: drawing and filling polygons. Hopefully livestreaming gets a little less rocky. Everything felt really precarious, especially the audio. After I finished I tried to playback the vod and for sound just didn’t work. I was sure I had just wasted 100 odd minutes of my life talking to myself looking at a webcam. Which oddly was comforting and felt on brand. But it did record…didn’t sound great but it worked. Hopefully next time it’ll be a better stream

Anyways, I’m looking forward to continue to build this in public. Even if no one is watching or playing along at home.
