New Game Announcement "Pay to Pay"

Tungsten Cube 2 Rise of Black Hole Cube the long awaited sequel to the genre defining masterpiece that was Tungsten Cube. The developers were recently acquired by Noisneca Inc  elevating the small studio to a huge multi national game development super power. Strangely the team behind the game  has abstained from revealing any details related to the game,  even press and news outlets.

You play as Maxwell, a down on his luck collage dropout who recently managed to obtain an illegal early copy of a game and came to the horrific realization that the game was shit. Luckily you were spared from that trash after  corporate assassins take you out. Unluckily you are revived by an angel named Angelica who is weirdly insistent on you completing the game in a specific time frame or she'll send you to the bad place, that's probably bad.

Hello my name is Beandev and I am announcing a project I have been working on for the past few weeks named Pay to Pay.  It is at It's core a critique on huge triple A games that cost way to much and micro-transactions that lock all of the actual appealing content behind a paywall. I'll be posting monthly devlogs/updates here as well as more frequent probably weekly posts on my patreon over at patreon.com/beanhousegames. I'll also be posting additional art and even early access to the game's builds over there so it might be worth checking out.

The game is more or less split into more or less two parts.

The first follows the story of Black Hole Cube main protagonist of Tungsten Cube 2 which is an action-adventure/ platformer similar to shovel knight or hollow knight. Unlike these great games this part of the game is loaded to the absolute brim with micro-transaction and DLC (no real money involved just in game money).  You will be able to get this money in the second part of the game.

Which  follows Maxwell as he tries to go about his day to day life living in his shitty one bedroom apartment in the "real world" trying to keep himself alive, happy and, reasonably sane. This part of the game revolves around resource management and strategy with you trying to make the most of your limited time and money and beat the game. It also entails quite a few moral and personal decisions that have real consequences for the world and individuals around you.

I hope on releasing a free demo on here in probably a month or two so stay tuned for more. And thanks to everyone who made it this far
