TechnicallyTimeTheft (TTT) is a productivity exercise, first and foremost. After years of bouncing between game engines, remaking the same handful of game ideas each time before losing interest I am instead going to commit to a "good enough" game engine and a regular, public, release schedule. My self imposed rules are as follows:
- Release three projects per year (April 30th, August 31st, December 31st) without exception, no matter the state of the project at that time.
- Stick to Unity unless a legitimate, insurmountable limitation of the engine is encountered (unlikely).
- Do not un-release projects that do not meet my own standard.
- Include with each release a brief post-mortem.
- A release may be a direct continuation of a previous release, as long as it isn't a subsequent release (A->B->A2, not A->A2).
The initial release is planned for this coming Sunday, April 30th.
