What I did (3/13-3/27):
General thoughts:
I had a lot of trouble sleeping these past two weeks, so it made it incredibly hard to be able to work on anything. I have only slept around 3 full nights of sleep over the last two weeks, and it's made being able to do anything really hard. So I haven't gotten as much work done as I liked. But I did make some progress! I got a logo that I will be using in games. The artist, Baguetti, did such a perfect job of creating a logo that fit me. As you can see, it's my new logo on my website and will be in all upcoming games!!
I'm trying to get my sleeping schedule back on track, but I think I actually need to go to the doctor's and get this insomnia checked out. Not even melatonin is helping! Hopefully I can get some more sleep soon.
In other news…there's not much other news. Oji Jam is going well and I'm working hard at the upcoming games that I'll be releasing. Here’s an outlook of my theme for this year and the games I’ll (hopefully) be releasing:
For the First Time (Tentative title) - O2A2 Queer Edition: Felicity, a tech conglomerate CEO realizes her true feelings towards her husband and towards her CFO.
Try Again - O2A2 2023: Overtime at work goes awry.
The Villainess Just Wants to Eat!! - Otome Jam 2023: Life’s greatest pleasures are food and fantasy manhwa. When reading, you can drool over hot characters and delicious looking food. After a late night of reading your favorite manhwa, you fall into the land of sleep and dream of being the fiance of the prince…only it isn't a dream! You’ve been reincarnated as the villainess! Will you be able to survive and live your dream of eating delicious food, or will you suffer the deadly fate of all villainesses?
Unnamed Yuri Jam 2023 Game: A love story between a mafia boss that was just released from prison and the cute bookstore and bakery owner.
Unnamed Yaoi Jam 2023 Game: A shy gym teacher and flirty literature teacher explore their relationship with each other.
This year’s theme (save for O2A2) is pure love. I will be releasing games that are feel good, happy, and filled with the purest forms of love. That means little to no angst which is pretty big for me since I love angst! I’m hoping by having themes for a years worth of games, I’ll be able to create the games I want rather than sticking to one genre. I can make what I want to make. What game are you looking forward to this year? Let me know!
