A real update!

As I mentioned previously, I recently had some actual time off of work and I've been able to sit down and work on the game pretty obsessively and I'm very happy with the progress. The changes are all too numerous and fiddly to list here but essentially an avalanche of small changes has made a big difference to how it feels to click around in the first chapter.

There's also a bunch of new things (I don't want to spoil) that I feel add a sense of dimension to the first case and hint at how things will progress moving forward. I understand that my progress may seem slow seeing as I've been sitting on adding new chapters, but really I feel that focusing in on the first case and getting the moment-to-moment feel down was ultimately an important process to go through.

The result of these changes and the current feel is hard to explain for me but there are some moments in there that suddenly excite me all over again - Which is why I've finally taken the 'alpha' tag off of the current build. When I look at the game now, it's no longer 'alpha', it's basically the level of quality I can get it to without doing something drastic.

So, have a look! It might surprise you!
