We hope you are doing great. We shared the progress in the discord server, however we did not publish any news on Patreon or Steam.
We know you are waiting for a release time and maybe, you might want to hear about the implementations.
Charity for the Turkey/Syria Quake
Our project manager lives in Turkey and was affected by the quake. He and his family are fine but the disaster hit them emotionally. We decided to help the victims of the disaster. News Inside
Long story short, we want to release the new build in March. If we don’t run into any unexpected issues, we will be ready to release at the end of March. We are working very hard and as you know, we all want to release the game but since it has different locations and some complex logic, we may need time for testing sessions.
As we promised, the build will be first released to patrons. After the Patreon release (1 week), we are going to release the build on Itch.io and Steam. The build will be free.
With the release, we are also going to update the Content DLC with new additions.

We worked diligently to find the best way to tell Inheritance: Ladeina’s Path’s story. We want to view Astarte as Lara Croft, Geralt of Rivia, etc. And we want the players to enjoy their time while walking the path to Astarte’s destiny.

After the first release, we had a lot of feedback related to UI and UX .
The Road Map
With this release, we are going to complete the second step of the release strategy plan. This step is really important because this is the last step before we go bigger. With this build we are going to complete episode 1.
This build is a kind of “hello world” and we have given our best to create it! But please don’t forget, still we are just at the beginning. We want to tell an amazing story of a warrior! So after the release, our future plans are here:
If the game is going to be like what we expect, we plan to switch to Unreal Engine 5 at the beginning of May 2023. We want to have April for bug fixes and a little break after this hard work!
And if we can be successful with our goals (financial and mental), we are going to be able to release the new build in October 2023. We need a bit of time for this because this build will be the last step before we create the full open world map. Before we can create the open world, we have to be sure about our core features.
Making an A type game (Inheritance is AA title) is a real challenge. And we have to be smart about what we can do, when we can do and what we cannot do. Since we are making this game with a nearly zero budget, we have to be sure about what we have done, before any step for the future takes place. Thank you for your continued support and patience!
