Hello everyone,

First and foremost, I would recommend everyone follow my Twitter account: https://twitter.com/joshlynngames. I regularly post updates there.

As many may know, I have created and contributed to several projects such as Heart Clash, My Crush My Bully, and Phantom Girl Rhythm. As you see, the last game released via my account was Mystery Cardboard Museum. That was back in June 2022. I had a Yuri game jam 2022 entry and a update for Mystery Cardboard Museum planned. 

However in August 2022, I was diagnosed with LADA (Latent autoimmune diabetes in adults) Being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 22 has been my biggest challenge yet. I went from one day living my normal life to having to completely change my diet and injecting insulin. During the earlier days of my diagnosis, I would sit down to code only to have to drop it because my blood sugars go too high or too low. 

I completely changed jobs. I went from working retail to working in IT in a span of a couple months. The latter half of 2022 was filled with many lifestyle changes. There was a point where I actually considered quitting making games all together because managing a high maintenance condition became too much.

There came a point where I recalled how many amazing comments that people left on the games I worked on. Many of them inspiring. Many people I met on itch.io asking me how I was doing. Around November, I slowly went back to working in Unity. 

I've been posting progress on fun side projects I've been working on between game jams, but I can guarantee that I do have a Touhou Pride entry planned for the June. 

I want to thank everyone for playing all of the games I worked on. I can't wait to provide more fun and inspiring experiences for everyone!
