It's been a pleasure making this for the game jam this year- and our little team worked in a very small window to pump out what we hope is a unique experience. After ratings are done I plan to personally go in and update a little bit of this into a final version- including the following:
Control cleanup- we are aware of the issue with closing notes (in the meantime the C key still closes notes perfectly well!)
Performance sweep- a few less particles and cleaning up some code to make it run just a little better
Menu enhancements- scalable sensitive and volume will be added for everyone's convenience
Proper credits- While we know that the hard end of the current game is an intentional design, we do plan to incorporate it in a way that still allows a proper credit screen afterwards in the near future (please check out the wonderful creators who provided us the prefabs, systems, and music in the project!)
We had to pull the scope back a lot to fit within the timeframe, but might eventually swing back around to this concept. Thank you all for taking the time to play Vale, and a big congratulations to all who participated in the gamejam! Continue to create some wonderful things!
