Updates!

Happy 2023 everyone!

I realize I haven't posted on here yet to provide any updates on anything, so I wanted to take a moment to let you know what's going on for AudioElk in 2023!

New Website in Progress

I'm nearly done with my new website, and I'm excited to share it with you when it's complete! I'm looking into using Itchio's API to pull blog/product data to have a single place that has my blog posts, service rates, commission forms, and sound library shop. I'm hoping to have that out by the end of this month at the latest, but I'll let you know!

Branding Refresh

I have refreshed the AudioElk branding this year, which will mostly debut with the new site! I do have a few things posted here and there about it on my other social accounts.

New Sound Libraries on the Way!

I have a few sound libraries I've been working to get ready this year! This includes a new volume of NSFW schlop/impacts/misc sounds, a 'game audio starter kit', and hopefully I will get around to editing a fun library I recorded while on vacation over a year ago! I also want to start creating and releasing game audio scripting kits for engines like Unreal Engine, Unity, Renpy, etc. to provide easy to use, 'drag and drop' level functionality to more advanced audio techniques. I'm hoping to have something for Unreal out this year at the least!

Life Updates!

Near the end of last year I found a new job that got me out of the part time retail life and finally into the 'one job to support me' life, which means I'm finally going to be moving back to Colorado this year! My original plan was to move by September, but it looks like I may be moving as early as June or July. The next few months will be busy for me, but I still plan on getting at least one new library out by April, with at least 3 more produced this year. Will be an exciting 2023!

Question for my Followers!

I have been considering including some basic branding images and crediting guide in with my sound libraries so that those who wish to credit my library usage in their projects have a clear and easy to understand way to do so. Would this be something y'all would be interested in? I do plan to update all my existing sound libraries with these files.

Let me know what you think! I'm hoping to really get going with my audio work this year. Can't wait to share with you!
