Just wanted to make a post because in 2023 I am finally doing something I have wanted to do for many years. I am going to make some little game projects. YAY.

I have joined a few jams in the past and often felt like I am not good enough to even compete. I am an old guy and have spent a lot of time trying to do something like this and always seem to fail. Normally I get upset with myself and shy away from it for another few months. It's a hobby and a passion of mine, to fail so many times over such a long period of time (I'm 43) is heartbreaking.

But, 2023 is the year I decided to enjoy failing and let it just become part of the process. Thanks for reading this, if anyone does. One day, despite it feeling impossible now, I hope I can show some other old person who has failed over and over again, that it is possible to achieve a dream as long as you work on it and keep going.
