Hello Guys. I'm Tomaz Mota, a musician and composer, and want to share with you a project that I started recently, Cat in a Chip.

This project is a way for me to put my chiptune compositions using some kind of "alter ego". I "discovered" this kind of music recently and started to search on how to compose chiptunes. On this process I downloaded a software called FamiStudio and loved how easy it is to use. For now I already have two compositions, uploaded on YouTube. This was my first chiptune composition.

For now I'm learning how to use the FamiStudio composing songs and I compose to learn how to do the sound that I want.

Since 2009 I work with soundtracks for other kinds of media (dance and theater performances, exhibitions, radio soap opera...). But for a long time a never worked with games, one of my desires in life. So this project is about composing songs that sound like old video games and also to try to enter in the game industry.

It's my first time here on Itch io and I saw that I could create a post. I don't know if this is the place for that but I wanted to share this project here and do some kind of personnel presentation. So here I am. Nice to meet you e see ya.
