INTRODUCTION

Hello there! My name is ChocoLemonilla, I'm a first-time game developer with a bit of a passion for storytelling. I created this account ages ago to post games that I'd make myself, but I've mostly just been lurking on the website to download some free games.

That being said, I'm kind of tired of not putting my work out there because of my imposter syndrome (I think that's what it's called); so, for next year, I'm definitely going to put in the work to finish one! So expect me to be a little more active on this site as well!

GAME IDEA

So, originally, I was planning to make this idea that I have into a webtoon, but I think it might be better to turn it into a visual novel instead. I was thinking of creating a visual novel about a spurned duchess who eventually leaves her husband (this was to catch onto the trend of other famous Korean webtoons) and finds love and happiness somewhere else.

I also have another visual novel idea that revolves around another project (a short film) that I'm working on, but I think for the sake of my procrastination and mental health, I'll just stick to one project at a time; or at least divide my time between each project equally. The duchess VN idea might be made in RenPy, while the film sequel VN is being made in a software called Kocho. I kind of have a basic understanding of both, but I'll try my best as I learn more from Python. Honestly, I'm more concerned about the story being good than the rest of the technical matters.
