SLASHER U: A HORROR RPG DATING SIM

Current status: pre-alpha - some temp map & ui assets still!

SLASHER U is a horror-comedy RPG dating sim I've been tinkering with using wolf rpg in my off hours! I wanted to focus heavily on reactive/branching storylines, character art/writing, and romances that build on NPC memories, a built relationship over time, & how they feel towards the player's personality, so it's a ton of interconnected feelings systems and lotsa character development (aaaand lots of visual novel style character reaction assets). It's inspired by 90's and 2000's horror movies, and my own personal addiction to relationship systems in RPGs! I'm also a cartoonist by trade (...he said, like a medieval journeyman) so I went a little ham on the art assets/outfits/etc early in the schedule :V

Right now, I'm making sure all the core systems & reaction/relationship systems are working smoothly,  polishing Act 1 of 3, updating some more of the temp map assets for showoff reasons (caveat: the character art's all there! I found it a little hard to test the emotional impact of a dating sim looking at greyboxes, lmfao). Please excuse my stock temp map assets (except my trees. v proud of my trees.)

I've had a website/devlog/thing for Slasher U on neocities for a while (https://slasheru.neocities.org), but I wanted to actually figure out how to make the leap to itch.io cuz the last time i worked in game dev professionally was... /checks notes/... .....2014. Oh god. please don't @ me D:
