Today marks a major milestone in the development of our game: we have finished implementing the core mechanics! This means that the basic gameplay is now in place, and we can move on to fleshing out other aspects of the game, such as the plot.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been hard at work on the core mechanics, which include character movement and interactions. We’ve put a lot of effort into ensuring that these mechanics feel smooth and intuitive to the player, and we’re really happy with how they’ve turned out.
Now that the core mechanics are finished, we’re going to shift our focus to the game’s story and world-building. This is an exciting phase of development, as we get to explore the game’s setting and characters in greater depth. We have a lot of ideas for the game’s plot and how it will unfold, and we’re eager to start bringing those ideas to life.
One of the key challenges we’ll be facing as we work on the game’s plot is ensuring that it is engaging and immersive. We want players to feel like they are truly a part of the game world, and that their choices matter. To accomplish this, we’ll be focusing on creating complex, multilayered characters and carefully crafting the game’s dialogue and events.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be working on fleshing out the game’s main story and side quests, as well as creating interesting and unique locations for the player to explore. We’re looking forward to sharing more updates with you as development continues!
